I'm sorry to say, that there's a lot of things currently wrong - no store navigation, no trust signals, very general info, no defined branding, definitely a room for improvement though.

hello @FrettySketty

Firstly do not spend any $$ as of now on your marketing channels. Get the website first corrected. Below is my feedback.

1. Place Navigation on the website

2. Make the Logo visible

3. The Nature pictures on home page (the big picture at the bottom) but i do not understand whats the reason for placing this kind of picture.

4. Add contact and About Page

5. In Collections of bike add product like Helmet sports gears bike gloves etc same goes for other collections i mean to say more related products.
(example in celebrate add wine glasses etc)

6. Pet Products add in collection called Pets .
I think you need to first categorize products in a correct way.

7. Do not mention the tax amount on checkout page example i see ( Including $1.02 in taxes ) https://frettysketty.com/collections/love/products/rawhide-donut-3-4in-200 when i added this product and went to checkout.

Can we have a detailed one on one discussion on call. There are no charges for the same.

I just had look into your store.

Why you implement your store logo? A very much outlined logo is a simple method to pass on to potential customers that your business is proficient, dependable, and gives quality merchandise or administrations. And your logo that resembles message in typical, you can include your store logo all the more innovatively that draws in guests/consumers.

And I didn't get your store you have the bike collection https://frettysketty.com/collections/bike, but that collection shows mostly spectacles and banner image is blurry. Not only this collection most of your collection like this.

And am unable to find your social media icons.

Hello @FrettySketty

You seem to have a nice line of products however there are quite a lot of things that you can improve in order to attract more traffic to your store. Here are a few:

  • Starting with the first thing you see when you land on your page: https://www.screencast.com/t/7lOilfMcw1h You should definitely add a Navigation Menu Bar with all the shortcuts to your store categories.
  • Again referring to the screenshot from the first point, you will need to think of a more appealing logo for your store. Once that you can also use as a favicon
  • All of the information you have in here - https://www.screencast.com/t/MlzenTKn and here https://www.screencast.com/t/1w5y6c9DJLH can be put in two separate pages called Contact Us and Shipping and Return Policies for example. OUr suggestion would be for these pages to be accessible from your footer.
  • In the footer section, you should also add all your socials. Social media is crucial for online sales and marketing nowadays. When you add the links, please make sure that when clicked they are being loaded in a separate window. This way your customers will still have your website open, so they could continue shopping in it.
  • I would advise you to also look around for some apps that can further improve your sales in the Shopify app store - https://apps.shopify.com/ . For example, this one - http://discountonleave.apps.isenselabs.com/ will help you recover some of your leaving customers with a discount to exit intent.
  • You can also add a small discount for customers that decide to subscribe for your newsletters.

Hope this helps :)

Hi FrettySketty,

Your site is great.

I have reviewed your website briefly and here are some of my feedbacks that you can implement on the site easily.

  1. Get yourself a logo designed. For now replace the image with the site name.
  2. Add following content on the home page
    Collection section
    Best sellers
    Features products
    Shipping/refund liner
  3. Add favicon on the website, it’s simple and add uniqueness to the site as well.
  4. Add social media links, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram on the site header or footer.
  5. Add about us and contact page. Write about why you started this site and contact us page should have email, phone number and contact form.
  6. Make sure each product has 3 - 5 images as that will help someone decide if they want to purchase.
  7. Make sure all your product images are the same size and dimensions. This is going to help tie your site together.
  8. Add a longer product description as this is how you convince someone to buy on your site. Plus it helps with SEO and ranking in organic search.
  9. Add a section at the bottom of product pages to show your most viewed/bought items from the site. This can help increase your average order value.
  10. Lastly, I can see that you are using default search for Shopify which is pretty basic considering that it shows empty result page even for simple search queries, for eg.https://frettysketty.com/search?q=plasticglasses.Improving your search experience has shown to improve conversion rates and reduce the bounce rate for your visitors. Try using different search solution such as Sparq which allows advanced filters, typo tolerance and other such feature. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.

I hope my feedback will help you converting visitors into customers.

May it rains customers and orders,

Neha :)

Sparq is a fast and beautiful search solution for Shopify store owners. It allows store owners to upgrade their default search to an extremely fast, more user friendly and feature rich search

Hi there,

As the previous posts have covered a fair bit, I'll take a slightly different focus.

You should consider making a post in the Shopify Ecommerce Marketing forum. It might be helpful if you provide more details there.

Some food for thought till then, here at AdScale, we recommend always using a system with AT LEAST AI automated processes for cross channel and platform advertising as well as bid and budget automatons. This can make a significant difference in your targeted advertising and improve your conversion rates. Keep in mind, retargeting is an essential part of grabbing those customers who have added to your cart but maybe stopped short of adding their credit card information.

Moreover, I suggest trying out a store analyzer to be sure that your website is optimized since we cannot always catch every detail at a glance. Often there are quite a few details going on behind the scenes that we miss, and these details can dramatically affect the effectiveness and purposefulness of your site as well as your advertising budget.

So, using a free Store Checkup Tool like the one from AdScale might be of help. It will give you a report on how ready your site is to advertise and deliver you actionable fixes if need be.

If you have any more questions, feel free to contact me.
