I'm noticing that visitors aren't spending a lot of time on my site, just wondering if I could get some tips on how to change that, how to get more conversions and just general layout feedback etc.




Also, for extra points, could someone explain to me why my logo won't sit in the dead-centre of the header?

Apart from being a part of the dropdown, the search bar should also be placed beside the cart and currency converter on the top right of the header as well. "New Arrivals" are a must for keeping customers informed regarding the latest store trends and product designs. Other suggestions of mine to give your store a fresh and more professional look are as follows:

  1. "Twitter and Linked in" also need to be added to the footer apart from Facebook and Instagram for better customer association.
  2. Apart from being a part of the dropdown, the login should also be placed beside the cart and currency converter for a more systematic header view.
  3. For increasing site popularity, "Bestsellers or Featured" is a must.
  4. For strengthening customer trust and belief, testimonials are a must.
  5. For better customer choice, product reviews should be placed below each product.
  6. Multiple newsletters are not desirable on the homepage. Only a single newsletter in the footer is required for the latest updates on discounts, promotions etc.

For the first question : why your logo won't sit in the dead-centre of the header ? It's because your header currently divided to 3 blocks and your header is aligned to the 2nd one. My suggestion is restructure the header or using absolute position css to center it ( image ). In addition, there is still room for improvement :

  • Hero image / Slider is the part is the part that gets the most attention of homepage and i think you aren't take advantage of it. Creating some sale campaign / product and create a banner / slider with dynamic headline + CTA, to notify customer will be one of the most effective way to increase your conversion rate
  • The contract of sale badge is quite low, i think you should change the "sale" color to white
  • Invest more content ( image, video ... ) to About us page to express more about your vision, story and competitive advantage ... to assure product quality
  • Add more content to your product such as : review, description, countdown timer ( to increase FOMO effect ), product features, size chart (must have )... to make it more "solid" and reliable

Your site is very neat and easy to browse in. You did great job at telling your customer what you are offering right away.  

I have been exploring your site for a little while and here are a couple of things you might want to keep in mind when having an online T-Shirt store. 


First, you have to be aware that selling T-shirts is not unique. Roughly saying, probably 15% of Shopify stores sell in that exact same niche. Be ready to face lots of competitors even if you are aiming for branded clothing only.  Make sure you work on your business plan and understand for yourself why a person has to buy a T-shirt  instead of going to local Target/Primark? Once you have that set, let people know as well. Highlight your advantages and why it is the best thing a person can find online. 


When you have that, you can adjust your site to that. 


-The very first thing you want is a positive user experience. For that, make your site user -friendly, add some tools to ease the process of purchase. 

Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customers:) 


-Add reviews to create social proof on your site. I would love to read other people's opinion on the product before paying for it. 


-The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand on it? does that mean the product is bad? 

Instead of giving discount for nothing, give them as rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.

-Think about the prices. 

I think you understand that there are brands that sell T-shirt for 5 bucks. Find something that distinguishes your brand from them. Also, consider adding a bigger variety of clothing, such as baseball shirts or baggy T-shirts, something that is trendy now.

I have gone through your site. Though it looks good, there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales.


Logo & Favicon :

Logo & Favicon -- Your logo should highlight your brand name. Add a favourite icon so users can locate your webpage easily.



  1. Header -- Have a sticky header and a clear smart search bar to help users locate the products they're looking for.Also a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator must have features. Login icon must be there for buyer account creation before purchasing.
  2. Footer -- Optimize your footer with more professional and functional look and also highlight your newsletter sign up so people who follow your brand will receive more updates about promotions and sales. There are legal policy pages which are missing in the footer that must be included for authenticity and security purpose



A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive.

  1. Banners & Branding -- Add hero banner with prompt CTA buttons that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc
  2. Color, Font & Branding -- Over All Text, Font , Paragraph , Alignment , Spacing , Padding etc should be more elegant so that your store looks well-organized, neat and visually appealing. Maintain the same or similar colors and fonts throughout your store to keep your  branding intact
