Hey all,
I just recently received my first couple of sales last week. It was quite the excitement. Now as I run ads again I'm getting traffic but haven't gotten any sales. Nothing has changed on my site or at least that I know of. Anyways I would love to hear your guy's feedback on my store, it would help a lot.
Hey,
Right now I can only point out things I see, but it literally could be anything and it doesn't necessarily have to be with the design of your website.
In fact, I quite like your website. It seems fast, the items have reviews. I went through the purchase steps, without buying anything and it works well.
My advice is to start tracking your data and then make the changes and see if it impacts your metrics. You need to look at it from different perspectives, not just conversion rate, but bounce rate, time on page, cart abandonment rate, and product detail view rate at the minimum to understand what can be improved. We could look at where the traffic comes from and why. We also do video replays, so you will be able to collect replay videos of your customers, journey through your website to know who, why, where your customers are dropping off. Time to stop doing guess work.
If you would like, I can provide a free analytics consultation which involves:
If you are interested in working with me and getting some consultation just send me your email in a private message and we can work together more efficiently via email.
If you have any questions, I'm open to being fully transparent. I'm really just looking for some positive reviews for my app.
Cheers,
Hello @magoulasp
Welcome to Shopify community!
I'd like to say that I really like the colors and formats you use to design your homepage. It looks very professional!
I have an effective and I'd say the right solution to your problem. Once you drive a sufficient amount of traffic to your site, you should consider setting up retargeting campaigns to efficiently boost up sales. Retargeting campaigns allow you to re-engage and remind customer of your brand after leaving your website and offer product and product informationstheyviewed with different kinds of attractive ad creatives. In other words, the goal for a retargeting campaign is awareness and conversion. You can start by installing the Ako Retargeting app on the Shopify app store. Ako Retargeting is a cost-efficient tool that could help your business increase awareness and conversion. The app helps you get your potential customers back to your website by delivering the most relevant product information to them at the right time, right impression and right cost. Take a look at how you can set up a 14 days campaign in less than 15 minutes here: https://medium.com/@akohubteam/how-to-create-a-sequential-retargeting-campaign-591861d257b5.
I hope this helps!

Hi @magoulasp !
Welcome to Shopify and I wish you good luck!
The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand for it? Does that mean the product is bad?
Instead of giving a discount for nothing, give them rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway. For adding the functions above you can several apps. However, if you want to get all of them at once just with a couple of clicks, try Growave.
We have 6 great features -Reviews, Wishlist, Rewards, Social Login, Instagram, Discounts, etc.
There is a free plan available.
Hopefully, I managed to help you. If so, please let me know by liking this post.
Hi ,
Overall, I do think your store gives off a professional vibe with bespoke imagery and design. It formed an initial positive impression which surely would make subjects more loyal to your site. I also went through the purchase steps, and things ran smoothly.
However, there are some recommendations I'd like to make. Hope that they might help you to better your web.
1. Optimize the CTA Button
This is your “above the fold area” (The area they see without scrolling down). You should make the most out of it since it's the first place that visitors would land on. Your visitors coming from all over the world and just some of them want to actually purchase from the first visit. The others, even when they do not buy your product, might have interests in your offerings and you should have as much information of them as possible.
Instead of a button that redirects them to the product page, maybe you should make it a subscription box to get their additional information like emails, types of phone they use. One good example for this tactic is the shopify.com. I think they did a great job with their homepage.
Also a small note for your above the fold area: there is much space left in this area while there is only a small CTA button, you might want to add more information or scale your text bigger.
2. The values listing
I can see that you have three core values of your product listed which are: Charging made simplified, Convenience is everything, Fulfill charging desires. I think the format of these should be coherent, for example you provide keywords only: Simplified - Convenience - Fulfilling.
Furthermore, imo, all these values should be placed together in one section rather divided into three individual sections and put between shipping and testimonial section. Maybe you put them in one section and use slideshow element (You can use app page builder for that, for instance PageFly). That makes it easier for visitors to read thoroughly about product's value without being interrupted.
3. The Product Page
I think the big picture that covers all screen might be a little bit over the line. I have to scroll down to see the ordering form which is an uneccessary action imo.
If I were you I would have placed the ordering form on one side and the picture (with the zoom-in ability) on the other, while the description can be placed under in a horizontally rectangular so that customers do not have to scroll deep down to read about product and then scroll right back up to fill the customer form and if they want to look at the product image they have to scroll up and down repetitively.
Hope these recommendations can help.
Cheers!
Hi @magoulasp
Your product is fantastic and extremely useful, it directly addresses a customer's pain point and it has a lot of scopes. If it suits you I'd recommend trying moving your brand video up at the banner, that's the most important place where a visitor lands in and get the first impression about a product. I am not seeing any social platforms icons at your site, make sure you have a presence on Facebook and Instagram as your product suits that audience. As a long term strategy, keep sharing content on your social pages to engage the community.
As far as short term sales are concerned that has stopped for you. I would highly recommend you to integrate social proof, stock countdown, and Spin Wheel sales apps by CareCart to your store. These are all free and easy to use. I am not trying to sell anything but I feel that if you have visitors and they are not converting then the problem needs to be addressed right at the store. If we are able to succeed to win them back they would eventually become loyal customers eventually. Your product carries a huge word of mouth potential so the focus should be on customer relationships.
Hey there @magoulasp .. your store looks awesome. I'm deeply impressed by your homepage where you have mentioned everything in detail. There's nothing much to improve or suggest for your online store to be honest! Just one thing you need to do .. Why don't you add CTAs? IT's like, when someone opens your store, they should get a pop-up (a spin wheel) where they can grab a discount, or something like that!
To get sales, you need to get on marketplaces and define a sales strategy! Because you're selling 1 product, you need to do your social media marketing by emphasizing on paint points. Why don't you emphasize getting rid of leads while charging and make posts and see how they perform! Also, it's time to move on the 2nd phase - enter marketplaces, and expose your store to a much wider target audience!
