I would love to provide feedback on your store. At first glance, it looks amazing! Congrats on the success from the past year! I love your overall brand and everything is presented very well. I do have a few small recommendations for you to consider:




I would suggest adding a Favicon to your site. While this is a small add-on, it can really tie together your brand. Most themes have a Favicon setting under Themes > Customize > Theme Settings. 


Product Reviews 


Since you have been doing business for over a year, it would be beneficial to add product reviews to your product page. We have a free application for product reviews here. In order to populate the reviews, you can always consider sending out an email to your customer base to encourage them to post a review. These will certainly increase conversion and promote brand trust. 


Darker Font for Description


I would suggest making the product description font colour darker. Right now, it is a little tricky to read the text. On certain screens and brightness levels, it may be harder for customers to read the information:




FAQ Page


You have some fantastic information regarding your business and policies. It may be worth considering adding an FAQ page as well. FAQ pages are the user-friendly option for those seeking information on your policies. After a year of business, you may have some recurring questions that come up or perhaps some important information you may want to have in an easily accessible location. Love the store, design and branding. You have a done a great job on making your store standout in a competitive market. I work with a couple brands that marketing to parents with young kids, which is where my feedback is mostly going to come from. I have also done ecom work for ASOS and Jack Wills, so know the space super well if getting more sales is the goal. The biggest area of work is going to be on your product page overall.


Homepage Feedback

    1. I would make the title "our playmats" bigger and easier to see. Right now it does not standout as much as it should

    2. As you make and add more product to your store. I would consider adding a Featured Product section on the homepage (i.e. Product Of The Month). Pick one products and tell people why you picked it and what makes it great.

    3. If you have been featured on any sites or been in the UK press, I would add a few of these publication logos to the homepage. Like customer reviews, it build social proofs and gets people to trust your brand faster

Product Page  Feedback

    1. A small thing I would do is make sure each product page has the same number of product images. Some pages have 12 images, some have 16 images and others have even less

    2. Add a section for customer reviews when you get them. This helps build social proof and makes it easier for parents to trust your brand. Ask past customers for reviews is a great way to get this started. Parents love reading reviews from other parents

    3. If you have any videos of babies/kids playing with the playmats, a good test would be to see if that helps get people to buy.

Your store just needs some tweaks to take it up a level Liz. It's really awesome so far and the idea above are ways you can tweak and test out things to drive more revenue and sales. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

I have gone through your site. Though it looks good, there are quite a few things missing on your store which if added can really make a lot of difference to the user experience, conversion rate and your overall sales.


Logo & Favicon :

Logo & Favicon -- Your logo should highlight your brand name. Add a favourite icon so users can locate your webpage easily.



  1. Header -- Have a sticky header and a clear smart search bar to help users locate the products they're looking for.Also a slide out cart, a cart icon with item calculator must have features. Login icon must be there for buyer account creation before purchasing.
  2. Footer -- Optimize your footer with more professional and functional look and also highlight your newsletter sign up so people who follow your brand will receive more updates about promotions and sales. There are legal policy pages which are missing in the footer that must be included for authenticity and security purpose



A lot can be done to your homepage to make it more informative & attractive.

  1. Banners & Branding -- Add hero banner with prompt CTA buttons that syncs well with your store theme & branding. This banner should include info like free shipping, offers/deals like 50% off, etc
  2. Color, Font & Branding -- Over All Text, Font , Paragraph , Alignment , Spacing , Padding etc should be more elegant so that your store looks well-organized, neat and visually appealing. Maintain the same or similar colors and fonts throughout your store to keep your  branding intact 
  3. Featured Collection -- Add all the top featured collection on the homepage so users know the type of products you're selling on your store.
  4. Featured / Bestseller products -- Engage your customers by letting them know the bestseller products on your store                                     
  5. Testimonials -- They add to the trust factor as when customers see what other buyers have to say about your products, it makes them more sure about your brand.
  6. Highlight your USP -- What's unique about your brand that none of the other Shopify merchants have? This needs to be highlighted in your store presentation, features & more.
  7. Trust Badge on Home Page -- This is important as this helps to build trust and assures your customers that your brand is authentic



Your customer views this page to have an in-depth view of the products and services you offer.

  1. Banner adding on Collection page -- Make your collection page stand out with interesting & creative collection banners
  2. Product filter for easy navigation -- Categorize & filter products by their size, color or type so users find product to product navigation easy.
  3. Product Label -- Product labels like % off, ‘New Arrival’, ‘Sold Out’ must be there must be there for the ease of the buyer
  4. Product Showcasing -- Clear product title and description , high quality images , reviews , related products , color swatch function, grey effect for sold out products , product labels . All these features make your store much more convenient, authentic, easy to use and user friendly.

  1. Features like custom swatches, product zoom in, product reviews, unique product titles/descriptions and  cart drawer that will make your product page more interactive and user-friendly.

Store looks cool and a good feel throughout, I have analyzed if you like you can take suggestions. It will make me feel good.
These below mentioned points will help you in settling UI and overall functionality which will build trust for visitors and eventually drive you a lot better sales.

  1. A "home" button is a must at the starting of the main menu of any ecommerce store.
  2. The header template should be placed above the logo instead of being placed above the central banner.
  3. Site identification can be better facilitated by adding a favicon to it.
  4. "Twitter and Linked in" should also be added to the footer social links to enhance customer-centricity.
  5. Once you add more products, "Bestsellers" and "New Arrivals" are a must for depicting site popularity and peculiarity.
  6. To improve customer decisiveness, product reviews should be added below each item.
  7. Testimonials tend to strengthen customer trust and belief.
  8. Promotional discounts in the form of "discount codes or coupons" are a must for better customer engagement.

You need to maximize the engagement on your store. If your store will be engaging then it will help you to capture visitors and convert them into paying customers. Here are the tools you need to add to maximize the engagement on your store:-


1. Add a chatbot to make sure you never lose any of your customers. Every visitor can be your customer.

2. Add web push notifications, it will help you to retarget your customers even when they are not on your store without getting their email address.

3. You can start giving Loyalty Points and Rewards to WOW your customers. This will increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value by giving points and rewards that give customers more reasons to return to your store.

4. You can add a countdown timer to create urgency for your promotions or offers with the countdown timer bar and motivate your customers to buy more from the store.
