Here are some ways to make your store even better and make people want to purchase. Your product page is going to need tons of work.

Homepage Feedback

    1. The site looks great... the only thing is having so many images on the homepage means the "Inspired by the World Around Us" section gets lost on the page

    2. Consider adding a Featured Product section on the homepage (i.e. Product Of The Month). Pick one products and tell people why you picked it and what makes it great

Product Page  Feedback

    1. Make sure each product has 3 - 5 images as that will help someone decide if they want to purchase. A lot of products I saw only had 1 or 2 images

    2. Add a section for customer reviews when you get them. This helps build social proof and makes it easier for people to trust your brand. Ask past customers for reviews is a great way to get this started

    3. Add a longer product description as this is how you convince someone to buy on your site. Plus it helps with SEO and ranking in organic search

    4. Add a section at the bottom of product pages to show your most viewed/bought items from the site. This can help increase your average order value

    5. ASOS and other leading fashion brands are doing little fashion videos for their product pages. Something you could film on an iPhone or latest Android and add to your site.

Your store just needs some tweaks to take it up a level. Hope you found this helpful, if so please click "like" below to let me know.

Hi @one-thirteen,

Your homepage looks nice, the images, effect and structure is good.

However, the collection pages and product pages are somehow at beginner level.

For Collection pages, these are where people scan the items to find an appropriate products. Each of your collection pages contain around 4 pages, which means a lot of product. Optimizing the product finding experience is therefore critical on these pages.

  • Sort, filter and search: This trio is indispensable on any collection pages. Without quickly finding a specific product, people cannot buy it.
  • List item: The empty space is enough 3 items in a row, plus a column for sort & filter. If you are concerned by the thumbnail images, you can use a secondary hover image, which allows people to view the images in bigger size when hovering.
  • List item information: Keep in mind people are scanning the list to quickly collect product information, so including essential information in the list items is important and will make the scanning easier. Color, size, shipping info, etc are the basic information that visitors usually seek.

About your product pages, there's a serious problem with the product images. If you look at this product page, the product images is almost blurred into the background. Also, only one image is definitely not enough for a visually-driven product like T-shirt.

For each product, at least 3 product types should be included:

  • Main images
  • On scale images: Images of the product with its surroundings so that people can gauge its size, style and other aspects.
  • Feature-highlighted images: Images that highlight the characteristics of the products, mostly from many angles.

On average, each product should contains 5-7 images.

Product reviews, customers feedbacks are also important. If you've been making sales, ask your customers for their feedback, reward them if needed and feature their feedback on your stores. That would reassure new visitors about your products and customer service.

Hey 113creations,

The logo is hardly visible on the homepage, while it is clearly visible on the others. Magnify its size for better clarity and visibility. Apart from having Login Button in the dropdown, it must also be placed beside the cart for a more logical site look. Other important observations regarding your store are as follows:

  1. Favicon is missing, which is quite important for site identification.
  2. Bestsellers need to be added for better customer association.
  3. Addition of some more social links apart from Facebook and Instagram will help enhance user connectivity.
  4. Instagram images help in building an overall brand reputation and facilitate brand promotion.
  5. Through the addition of a wishlist, customers can create personalized collections of products they want to buy and save them in their user account for future reference.
  6. Expand the product description and add more images for better product understanding.
  7. You can also install one of the most popular app Growwave which is all in one marketing platform that helps store owners increase conversions with ease.
  8. Finally, I would also recommend replacing the default search with an advanced search like Sparq which allows synonyms, advanced custom tag filters, spelling correction, and other such features. Visitors with search are high intent users and their conversion rate is higher than normal users.
Check out the features live here.

You can use Sparq free trial for as many products in your store. After the trial period, you can enjoy with Sparq’s Free Starter Plan for upto 1000* products.

Hope store improvement brings in more and more sales for you.

Neha :)

Sparq is a fast and beautiful product filter and search solution for Shopify store owners. It allows store owners to add a custom tag, metadata, or variant based filters on their collection page and upgrade their default search to an extremely fast, more user-friendly and feature-rich search.

Have you tried offering some buy now, pay later options on your site? I heard that Klarna was good.

Hi @one-thirteen

I have gone through your site and found it hard to locate to the product that I'm interested in.

1. There's no search functionality on your website. Shoppers who used the on-site search showed a 216% increase in conversion rate and a 21% increase in average order value. Its an impressive figure, but often overlooked. You could consider using Ultimate Search and Filter that offer instant search, autocomplete, typo tolerance, synonyms search. It would act as an aggressive sales assistant that improves your customers' satisfaction and increase conversion rates.

2. It's essential to implement a product filtering for your Collection pages and Search results pages. It's hard to expect customers surfing all pages to find the desired products that they would purchase.

3. Consider using Merchandising to get more profit. he right digital merchandising strategy can engage your shoppers, guide them toward enticing products, and boost your sales, which is the dream for any online retailers. You can pin and boost high-margin or sale items, bury products that most sizes are out of stock, display promotional banners on collection.

Hey @one-thirteen

Your store looks really captivating and you have a good collection. Here are some suggestions you need to work on:-

1. Add web push notifications, it will help you to retarget your customers even when they are not on your store. It will also reduce the abandoned cart rate.

2. Add a chatbot to make sure you never lose any of your customers. Every visitor can be your customer.

3. Add a referral program. Referral marketing is a cost-effective way to gain new and loyal customers. Because people are social creatures, individuals that are referred to your company are much more likely to remain loyal customers.

4. You can start giving Loyalty Points and Rewards to WOW your customers. This will increase repeat purchase and customer lifetime value by giving points and rewards that give customers more reasons to return to your store.

If you would like to implement all these I would suggest you to install AiTrillion.com It has all the features in a single app and is a fully integrated app. It is all in one Shopify app. Plus you don't need to install multiple apps. You can check it out. I am sure you will find it useful.

Hello @one-thirteen
Congratulations on your store page! It's quite well done. i like the minimal theme that you have selected because it keeps the focus on the products themselves. Most things on the store have been done right. I saw a couple of things that could be made better though, so I thought I'd share them with you.

  1. As someone who shops online quite a bit, I generally don't like to keep moving to next pages to see more products. I generally drop off after 1-2 clicks. Is it possible for you to increase the number of products on a single page? You could consider this option to reduce friction for a shopper.
  2. On your product page, I don't see a buy now button. Just an add to cart button. I think a buy now button increases the chances of shoppers completing the transaction if they're looking for just 1 product to buy.
  3. I think we could use a wishlist or an Add to Favourites button. This will allow you to send more targeted follow up emails to your shoppers and even notify them if you're running any offers or sales.
  4. You could add some kind of urgency by adding stickers or labels to highlight things like sale/trending/free shipping. The Shopify app store is source of some really good apps that can add this kind of a focus to your store. I added one below which I thought might look good. What do you think? You can always look up more styles here.
