Can Shopify chat be configured to load its JS only when the icon is clicked?

Can the Shopify chat widget be configured to load its JS only when the chat icon is clicked?

If not, can we place a feature request for this?

I'm not going to install shopify chat app to check, but I'm assuming it doesn't have that sort of flexibility. 

Tidio chat app has a option for manual install, so while you can't make so the js loads when you click on the icon, you can set it so the script doesn't load till you scroll down, so it won't affect your pagespeed score.
