My store loading speed is too slow and I don't know why

6 0 3

Hi guys!

I've started my store recently, but then I notice that it has slow loading speed. I also apply some page optimization tools but the result has not improved. My page speed is just 27/100.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can improve it?

A large volume of unoptimized images is usually the most common reason behind website slowness. High-resolution images can consume lots of bandwidth while loading. Uploading larger sized images and then scaling them down can unnecessarily increase the size of your web page – causing your website to load slowly.

Hello @Xenon-Store
Welcome to the Shopify Community!

This is Syed Mustafa a professional Shopify Developer. As I'm sure you well know, page speed has become a factor for ranking in the search engines. That's why if you're investing lots of time and money into getting the rankings you deserve, you shouldn't be blowing it by having a slow website.

Longer load times have also been shown to negatively affect conversions.

“My Aim” is to optimize the website speed and get the best possible results. It’s helpful to the visitor who visits your website and spends much time without annoyance. I've gone through your website speed details and your website is much slower for the small devices e.g mobile, tablets the reason behind why the website is slow is that there are lots of unused code of Javascript and CSS plus lots of unoptimized images as well that's why your website loading speed is slow and slow speed means that you are losing your potential customers and profit so it's a work that can be done by custom coding and I am professionally able to do this for you.

Drop your reply at and let's start this project as soon as possible.

Hi @jessienotcheesy,

I would recommend you enter your URL in the Shopify Analyzer (a free tool our company built for the Shopify community). It'll display results for mobile/desktop versions of your site and will give you some actionable feedback about what could be further optimized.

The most common optimizations you can do involve:

  • true lazy loading
  • image optimization
  • minifying files
  • going through your apps to see if any can be uninstalled
  • removing any leftover app code from uninstalled apps

There are some other optimizations you can perform, but the ones mentioned above will likely have the largest impact.

I hope this helps!
