Alternate Payments - How to develop and show a new payment in the dropdown

Hi there,

What are the steps/process to add and Alternative payments in the Alternate payments dropdown? Just like "LAY-BUY powered by PayPal".

My company offers short term loans and want to add my company in the Alternate payments dropdown. We already have our APIs which we have used to integrate with Magento.

The best way to add a payment gateway to the Alternate payments section is by setting up a free Partner account and working with the Hosted payment SDK. I've included some handy links for you below:

You mention that you are looking to offer loans/ financing. There is also the option to do this via an app too. Hosted Payment SDK request are closed, do you plan open again in near future? We are partners of the major Argentina payment gateway, responsibles for mantain all of the integration methods for them. And we plan to deleop an integration with Shopify

I'm working a partial payment provider from South Africa called LayUp
LayUp lets your pay over time, on your terms, interest free and with no credit checks. 

We are finding it extremely difficult to find the channels to get this integration approved. We are currently building a integration that's very similar to the following: https://lay-buys.com/shop-ify-layby. The App works on the following basis, the Lay-Up extension integrates into a Shopify hosted website and is an add-on that provides your shopping cart with a further payment option of a Lay-Buy; allowing customers to select to pay a small deposit and then spread the remainder of the purchase over an agreed timeframe. After receipt of the complete payment, only then would you be required to ship the product(s) to the customer. In essence, what we have created works as a Down Payment or recurring payment option.

Do we require a Hosted Payment SDL approval to get an App like this approved?

My company wants to offer consumer loans for large purchases in Colombia, do we need to be approved for the Hosted Payments SDK?
