We just launched our website on Shopify a few days ago, and are using authorize.net as our credit card payment gateway. When consumers place an order, the 'your order is processing' page refreshes 3 times, then directs the consumer to a Shopify screen that says "we're getting a lot of orders right now. you should receive confirmation within an hour". Eventually, that page redirects to the order confirmation page and the order has been completed.
The processing time is over 24 seconds. I'm in a situation where authorize.net is telling me it's a Shopify issue, and Shopify is telling me it's an authorize.net issue. Shopify support has been zero help so far.
Has anyone ever run into this? It's very confusing to the customer.
We have been using the same authorize.net account for years and never had this issue on BigCommerce.
