Best Payment Processor/Gateway For My Situation As A Canadian?

Hey guys. I'm looking for a payment processor/gateway that provides 1-2 day payouts for Canadians.

 

I used Stripe initially, but they have a 7-day rolling period for Canadians. I obtained a US EIN, US address and US bank account and made a US Stripe account in an attempt to get the 1-day payouts, but even though I spoke to several Stripe support specialists, all saying I could make a US Stripe accounts with the requirements I listed above, I got an email after doing $2.5k in transactions asking to confirm my employees in the US. I told them I didn't have any, and they said I don't quality for a US Stripe account and immediately transitioned it back into a Canadian one.

 

Story short, i'm looking for a payment processor/gateway that meets my needs of a 1-2 payout, because I need cashflow for cost of goods and adspend. I'm doing $1k+ in sales per day, so this is crucial for my business.

 

Suggestions anyone? Would be highly appreciated, share your thoughts :)

Hi Nicholas, 

 

Nick here from Shopify. 

 

If you are using Shopify Payments the payout schedule is a 3 business day period, which can't be shortened. You can change the schedule to be by the day, weekly, monthly etc, but gathering from your post I suspect you would want this to be daily. Shopify has a helpful information document which goes into this in much more detail that you can see here

 

Regarding the payout periods for other payment gateways, this is something you would have to reach out to the gateways about individually. Shopify wouldn't have much control or say into how long it takes other payment gateways. You can see all the gateways Shopify is partnered with in Canada here where you can see if any do have a 1-2 payout schedule that would suit your needs.
