Billing with paypal

Hi- I want to replace my existing credit card billing on shopify with PayPal but I see the PayPal pop up asking me to submit credit card details. Is there no way by which i can pay without a credit card using Paypal?

Hi @tieIndia,

Can you please confirm which country you are based in? If you do have credit or debit cards attached to your PayPal account, you will need to make sure these cards have international recurring billing capabilities in order for Shopify to charge them for your subscription. However, you should still be able to use your linked bank account or PayPal balance to pay for your subscription if you do not have any credit cards attached.

I am based in India. I got my bank account connected with my PayPal
account, not any of the cards yet(don't have a credit card, hence opting
for PayPal).
But when I try to change the billing method to PayPal, it opens a PayPal
pop-up asking me to add the credit card details. Please help and Thank you
so much for responding

Okay, I see. I believe this is something we'll need to take a direct look at in order to troubleshoot, and you'll need to be authenticated on the store so that a member of our support team can take a look at your admin. Thank you so much, Victor. The help center link lands me on a page where
I've to select my store.
On selecting that, I am directed to a page where I see a 'Contact Shopify
support' CTA which again takes me to the page where I selected my store.
Can you please tell me if there's a support email to which I can write or a
support number where I can speak? This is very critical in nature, and
quick help from the Shopify team would be much much appreciated.

Once you've logged into your store via the Help Center and entered in your topic or question, you should see an option to contact support at the bottom of the page. I made a video for you that shows this process.
