Same here except i cant even upload anything. I can attach a file but there is no button to submit. I’m not vat registered so don’t even have that to submit. Not sure what they want or how to do this.
I thought this was all sorted and then boom, documentation rejected. It's difficult as I run the account, it's in my name but it's for the business I work for, not my business. No one owns the business and all the utilities bills are in the business name, not an individual... I have re-emailed and threatened to close our account. I don't think for a minute that this will work.
Emmalay I’ve sent an email to Shopify and attached whatever vague items I have. I’m not even sure that we need to do all this because until there is a deal or no deal so much is uncertain. Stopping us trade now when we are still in transition makes no sense.
Any updates on this? I am a sole trader/registered as self employed and they want documents for my business? I don't have Company house certificate or VAT number so I have no idea what to submit
The thing is that when people want to start a business they search for information and then they come across more questions than answers so this fear awakens in them and they may think that it's too complicated for them. It was also my case, I wanted to start a company in some other place than my country of residence so of course, it seemed to be a mission impossible at the beginning as firstly I didn't have a lot of knowledge in the field, I just woke up and decided that I wanted to do it and secondly I couldn't seem to find an article with all the steps I needed to take, just a lot of really complicated stuff that I couldn't figure out. The luck jumped in front of my face when I stumbled across the site of a company that helps with Offshore Company Formation and it was all I've been searching for the past months. They offer a multitude of useful services and my business is doing amazing. Just wanted to inform anyone that's in the position I used to be and say that there are options out there.
