Canada Post - Shipping options issue

We're having an issue recently with Canada Post shipping on our website. We want to ship some of our parcels on a "regular" service (not expedited or anything). Until a few weeks ago, we were able to properly choose this option and send domestic packages with this. However, we can't choose this option anymore, being forced to choose at least Expedited service even for local orders, even though the Regular Parcel service is enabled. As we're sponsoring part of the shipping cost, we end up barely breaking even on the small orders that we used to ship as Regular.


Can you please assist us and let us know how to again have the option to fulfill with Regular Parcel service?

Hopefully you should get your answer on this thread. To give a jist, the reason Shopify only directly offers these 3 options and not Regular is that the Expedited Parcel rates actually cost less and deliver quicker than Regular Parcels.

However, if you are looking to have rates from Regular parcels, then you can use the Multi Carrier Shipping label app for this purpose. With this app, you will get all services of Canada post. Note : You would require to have your own Canada Post account details when using the app.
