Changing account payments

I am trying to change my payments account. When I enter old account details and new account details it says error for my old account number but it is correct so I’m not sure why I can’t change the account number. This so really frustrating.

I'm sorry to hear of the issue you're running into while trying to change your payments information. I can totally appreciate how frustrating that must be. I'm happy to help out with resolving this! To ensure I have a full idea of what's going on, could you please reply back here and provide the following information: 

  • Are you currently trying to change your payout account for Shopify Payments? 
  • Could you send a screenshot of the error you're getting? (Please be sure to crop or blur out any sensitive information) 
  • Have you received successful payouts to the account that's currently connected?

Once I hear back with this additional information, we can work on the next steps together. Looking forward to hearing back!
