Checkout button no longer working (greyed out)

The checkout button on our site (www.geekycool.co.uk) has suddenly stopped working. Items can be added to the cart, but when the Cart button is clicked on, the Checkout button is greyed out and can't be selected.

We are using Infinite Product Options by Hulk Apps but have been for a long time with no issues. The last successful order was 1 November so something seems to have changed since then.

Any suggestions on how to get to the bottom of it?

I took a deeper look at your website, and I was able to proceed to checkout as per normal: 

18-16-5ulrv-o9i94

This brings us to a few other possibilities. First, let's rule out any local errors. Can you please troubleshoot with me by trying the following:

  • Try clearing cache/cookies of current browser
  • Try from a different, up-to-date, browser
  • Try from a different network connection

If the issue persists after that, there could be a couple other things going on. For further context can you confirm if:

  • this occurs on all, or certain products
  • if this on certain products, which ones?

Hi I am having this problem as well but only with products that do not have an upcharge added to it. I use IPO and if I order a short sleeve shirt on my products (that has no additional charge) it won't let me checkout (doesn't even give me that option). but if you add a product (such as long sleeve shirt (+$2) to cart it will let you checkout. It does it with all products that don't have an upcharge to it. What do I do to fix this? my website is www.dynamicexpressionsanddesigns.com

Thanks for joining this thread and sharing your concerns. From what you have shared, I might assume you are using an app or custom code to add up-charges to some store products?

Have you tried the following troubleshooting steps yet, in addition to the ones I listed above:

  • Uninstall the up-charge app, or custom code
  • Install a fresh, unedited copy of your theme to test the problem products to see if the issue persists
  • Test against an unedited Shopify-developed theme

This can help you narrow down if the issue is stemming from the app, or the actual theme. Since specific up-charge products are working as expected, my hunch would be that the app is creating some issues; in this case connect with the app developer for troubleshooting.
