Are there any setting or shopify app for customer that if they purchase something with any payment from any bank ,but in-order to get payment success, they will receive some kind of verification from in their online bank account like asking them to key in the amount (Example $0.01) that appear in their e-statment,this $0.01 is randomly generated from us to them and they will key into the payment page. So we could verify that they are using their own credit card. This also likely let customer think twice before keying this amount and also to prevert further fraud. Saw some other businesses do this as well.
I don't believe a system like this exists on Shopify or any apps. Knowing that fraud happens less than 2% of the time for most shops, doing so will significantly decrease your shop's checkout conversion rate. This would be really bad for merchants that have a high volume of orders coming in.
Shops that are currently doing this are likely doing it by customer segments and not for every customer.
