Does Shopify Payments support 3D secure

I read the change log and it said it does, but I can't see anywhere where I enable that for Shopify Payments.  I can see discussion around 3rd party integrations, but not with Shopify Payments

Would someone be able to provide some clarity please.

Don here from Shopify. :)

I can confirm for you that Shopify Payments will be using 3D secure in order to comply with PSD2 regulation.

You don't need to set this up or activate anything on your end, and how this will appear to the customer will depend on their bank or card provider.

Any orders completed in this fashion will have a card in the order page on the right side called '3D Secure Authentication' which looks like this:

Has this 3D Secure Authentication card now been removed from the orders page in the Shopify admin?

Hello Don.

I received several big order which were labelled as "high fraud risk" but I don't see that the payment went through the 3D Secure verification, how can I activate it - it's not activated now.

I tried myself to purchase online, and in fact I wasn't asked for the 3D Secure verification.

How can I activate it ?

Did you get an answer to this? My customer is receiving an error message to say the merchant didn’t initiate 3ds to verify the transaction. So they can’t out the order through. They are trying to pay with a Revolut card. Can you advise me on this?
