I have had a few cases when an order has been placed and then I have received an email to change the size of one item before shipping. I can not workout how to edit the size in the order? I have been shipping the size the customer wants but unable to correct my inventory online! How do people get around this?
Currently there is no way to directly edit the variant that was chosen by the customer on the order, but there are a couple of ways around that! You can definitely use the new order drafts feature to create a new order to replace the one the customer placed and select the appropriate variant on that one (can also make a note as to the orginial order for tracking). The other option would be to ship the items and then manually adjust the inventory for the variants affected.
