Filing a damaged package claim with UPS, what account number?

I called UPS once,  All i had to do was verify sender, ship from, and more details on the order.  I don't know if it is just for filing a claim online.

For anyone that found this thread by searching on Google or in the boards. I was searching for an answer and found a help page with this info. Emailed them and it opened a support ticket which I assume will end with a claim and then refund.

 

 

Submit a claim

If a shipment is late, lost, or damaged, then email shipping-support@shopify.com  to track your package and file a claim.

Include the following information in your email:

  • your .myshopify.com address
  • the order number
  • description of the damage
  • the receiver's phone number

When my parcel was damaged, I wrote a complaint to the company that was engaged in the transportation of things. They told me that I should have insurance, but it was included in the price of the goods. As a result, I had to pay for the damage myself. And as luck would have it, on the day I received the package, it started to rain. She was at the front door and it flooded. Of course, I called 487 022 665, called https://primeflooddamagerestoration.com.au/carpet-drying-sydney/ specialists up to confirm that it was not me who ruined the package, but the situation that developed. But I was refused damages, so now I always do the pickup.
