Help with connecting Paypal please

I am trying to connect to Paypal with a different account to that on the Shopify site.

 

I have disconnected the existing connection as advised, and then re-set it up with the new Paypal email. It lets me enter the new email and password, and takes me into Paypal.

 

However, once in Paypal, I can't see any way to accept or confirm the request - I don't get any notifications.

 

Am I missing something, or is there any other reason why it won't let me connect?

Elle here from Shopify. 


When you select 'Activate Express Checkout' and sign into PayPal, you should immediately see this message: 

 

 

Can you try connecting your account within a different browser or perhaps in Incognito mode through Chrome? 

 

Also be sure that the account you're connecting is a business account!
