How do I offer a commission on certain products that are sold within Shopify to specific people?

For example:

Say there is an artist that has a single product listed on my site, and every time a sale occurs they receive a portion of it)...

Is there anyway this can be done automatically?

I was just looking at Zapier to do this for you. But it looks like there isnt a way to automatically initiate a Paypal payment. So I think thats where you are going to get stuck with this, the ability to automate the payment.

Its perfectly possible to get a list of transactions from the shop and calculate the amount of commission that needs to be paid, but the payment part looks like it will have to be manual. Good luck!
