Newbie here. I purchased my first Shopify store and I am trying to adjust some items before I start to advertise it. The previous owner has Partial.ly as one of the payment options, I'd like to remove it. However, even though I have removed the code snippet from the cart (liquid theme) it still appears when I look at an individual item as an option in the add to cart.
How do I remove it globally?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hank here from Shopify.
Is it something that is visible on the website or just when something is added to the cart? If so, are you able to share your store URL so that I can take a look at this?
Or is it still listed within Settings > Payments and you may need to disable it?
When you purchased the store, did the old store owner disable their preferred payment gateway?
Let me know, and I'll happily assist you further!
Thank you for sharing your store URL with me which allowed me to see the issue.
It sounds like it has been written into the theme code if it is not showing within the payments page.
You can disable the dynamic checkout options within your product page which would hide this from your products, but that would also hide other accelerated gateways like Shop pay or PayPal, etc.
Another option is reaching out to your theme developer for assistance. Depending on what theme you have, will depend on the support available for you. If unsure of what your theme is, and to find out who supports this. you can do the steps listed in this guide.
If it is a Shopify theme, let me know and I'll assist you further!
