You can use the refund feature in Shopify in order to push a refund to the customer in question. We have a step-by-step guide here that shows you how to perform a refund. This will require that your account is activated and not canceled though. If the account is cancelled, you would need to either reactivate the store or refund the customer by means outside of the Shopify platform.
