Is anyone else having trouble with Shopify Payments not refunding customers?

We have been receiving a high number of customer complaints, as from 11th July Shopify Payments / Stripe have not been processing refunds after we have successfully completed them in Shopify.

We've had 50 customer complaints about this in the past 4 days.

Shopify Payments team say it's a known issue and they are working on it with Stripe, but haven't put out any statement to tell people about this issue.

Has anyone else experienced similar?
