Ive wrote with a spokesman at Klarna which is in the biggest e-commerce group in Sweden called "Svensk e-handel" he had an AMA session and I took my opportunity to ask him why KCO doesnt exsist and why is there so much hassle around it for shopify?
The answer he gave me, freely translated:
"We have been blocked by shopify to deliver KCO (klarna checkout) to SHOPIFY, we are trying to talk to them and find a solution, but at the moment we do not got any better answer then this."
"Believe me, we really want to deliver KCO to shopify, and we will keep on fighting deliver it for you, and i really hope we will find some sort of solution"
What the hell Shopify? Why do you block Swedens most wanted checkout-solution?
This was very surprising and frustrating to read.
Still no answers from Shopify when it comes to this? Do you really care about the checkout experience or is it all about the money to the bank?
Considering changing platform if this doesnt give any ETA or progress at all.
IT IS CRUCIAL when it comes to shops in Sweden, people who dont know that have 0 experience about e-commerce.
