Loud notifications on iphone for new orders.

Hi!

Looking for a solution for notifications of new orders on iphone.

I am a 24hr delivery service, and will need to be notified of orders as soon as they show up. However sometimes I may be asleep and need the notification to be loud and long enough to wake me up. Is there a possible solution to this?

Turning up your sounds notifications on iOS would be the only way

This is Max from the Shopify Team.

That's right. You would need to make some adjustments on your device to first allow notifications and then adjust the volume of these messages. Head to Settings > scroll to the Shopify app > click Notifications.

If you're using the new iOS features like Screen Time or Do Not Disturb, be sure to adjust these so your Shopify notifications can be pushed through at all hours!

Hi, I need Loud notifications on my phone as well, (I use the latest iphone) but shopify doesn't send me notifications to my phone. I have shopify app installed and all the notification enabled, I disabled screen time, it does send e-mail notification to me but not push notification. is there anything i can do?

Here is a workaround:

1. Create a new email to receive Shopify new order notification. 

2. add this email to your IOS device.

3. change the notification sound for new email on your IOS device.
