Has anybody encountered this? We investigated this issue further, and sampled some other countries. (see screenshots attached below)
We can see the Regions/Provinces/Territories when configuring the Shipping Zones for these sampled countries, and they also appear in their Shipping Address, when the customer is checking out.
However, this is not the case for the Philippines? See screenshots below, are we missing something in our configuration? It seems odd that this is only happening for the Philippines? (There might be other countries too, but we only sampled a few countries)
And yes, we need the Region show-up in the Shipping Address, as we need to configure the Shipping Zones to only selected Regions for this country.

Just an update. I heard back from Support. This is currently a known limitation only for Philippine Shipping addresses.(Thanks Support for the quick response!)
In my view, this is a significant functional error (not coding error perhaps), since the intended function of the Shipping Zones cannot really be utilized. There are already Regions when setting up the Shipping Zones, and yet it is pretty much useless, since there are no Regions in the Shipping Address. (By the way, there are no Regions too, in the Location addresses for Philippine addresses).
Hopefully, Shopify's Product Development/Support Teams will get to correct this functional error, as soon as possible. (By the way, just read from another community thread that this particular issue has been known way back in 2017 (?), which doesn't inspire much confidence.
