Not able to ship orders

Hi,

I have a shopify store and I tried testing out the store by trying to place an order to see what customers view when checking out. But everytime I try to place an order, it says it cannot be shipped to that address. I put in 3 different Canadian address and 1 US address but it's not allowing me to ship. I tried placing an order with the original suppliers of where I dropshipped the products from to see if they have any restrictions shipping to certain locations and used the same addresses I used but there isn't any issue with the shipping.

This is the message it says:

Your cart has been updated and the items you added can’t be shipped to your address. Remove the items to complete your order. There are no shipping methods available for your cart or address

 

Could you advise on what the issue could be? Thank you.

Hi @odawuni 

This message means that you do not have appropriate shipping rates set up for those locations under Settings > Shipping within your admin. 

You can learn more about how to set up shipping rates here.
