Has anyone else been experiencing issues with refunds being issued to customers who paid with a credit card issued from Chase Bank? Or, more specifically from the "issuer" field, JPMorgan Chase Bank N.A.
In the past month or so, we are getting regular customer complaints that our refunds are not appearing on their card (despite them being issued through Shopify, and the money removed from our account), and after a period of time customers issue a chargeback request.
I have spoken to Shopify support about this, but from what they can see the refund has been issued and it's sort of "in the mail" and out of their hands.
I understand that refunds don't show up immediately, but it is really pissing off our customers, and they don't really have another option other than issuing a chargeback request.
