Pay Pal express checkout isn't showing up on paypal

My first order has my customer paying with Paypal express. It's been a while and the money isn't in my Paypal yet and I was wondering if it's just a matter of time it'll go in or if it's something else. The thing is that I was under the impression that i had to make a new pay pal account to allow pay pal express checkouts. Once the order was done, I still had to verify my email for the new pay pal account, and link my bank account to it as well. Can anyone help?

First off, congratulations for your first order!

Did you make sure to login to the PayPal Business account associated with your PayPal Express checkout in Settings > Payments? If the account there matches the one you're logged into, then the payout with PayPal may currently be in transit or on hold. 

In any case, I suggest reaching out to PayPal directly; there should be a contact option that you can locate directly within your PayPal account. Since they're responsible for distributing your payouts, they'll be the best equipped to help you track them down.
