Hello again! Shopify doesn't support Shopify Payment options in my region. And for the Paypal payment, I am not eligible to create a Paypal Business account (no SSN). Please suggest me another payment methods so I can get paid.

Hi, @Jaehoon,

Hank here from Shopify.

Depending on what country you are based in can give you different options when it comes to choosing a payment gateway method for your store.

To make it easier, I have a full list of every payment gateway that is approved by Shopify here for you. Another way you can see what options are open to you is within your admin. You can access this by going to Settings > Payments > Alternative or third-party payments. In this section, you will see a list of payment gateways that are available for your store!

Then it simply a case of choosing the best option for your store, and your customers.

Dear @Jaehoon ,

Can you let us know what is your country? 

If you can not find your preferred payment provider under approved by Shopify here for you.  Other option you have is to add a your preferred local payment gateway  to your Shopify site custom manner.

My country is Northern Marianas Island. And it's not listed in the payment gateways

Thank you for confirming your location.

While not every country or region is on the payment gateway page just yet, the most accurate information is within your admin.

So once you are logged in, if you go to Settings > Payments, you will see the options for both Third-party payments and Alternative payments. Clicking on either of these will give you the choice of multiple payment gateways for you to use in your store, plus the payment options that they offer. 

I have a sample screenshot from my test store below, for location differences I have just blurred out the names of the gateways, but you can see something similar within your admin, and the payment options will be on the right.

Choosing a payment gateway would be a choice of your own to make, which comes with instructions on how to create an account with that gateway. If you need further support, you will need to reach out to them directly, but a link will exist within the admin to assist you with this.

How are you Hank?

Im a member of brasscollection.store

So now we are facing an issue with the payment method, The business are based on USA!  And SHOPIFY PAYEMENT option doesn't shown up!

How can you help us! Now we are using STRIPE, but we would like to use SHOPIFY PAYMENT! How can you help us please!!!!

That certainly seems strange, as you mentioned Shopify Payments (SP) should always be listed at the top (when available) in (Settings > Payments) when located within the United States. Had you previously any issue switch setting up your payments or your store, or is this the first time you tried to set up Shopify payments?

Or did you receive an email from the accounts team or see a notification within your admin mentioning Shopify payments? If you didn't, it may be a case that this may need the escalated billing team to take a look at, so access to your account is required.

Please visit the Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request. Once you log in to your store, search for a topic to try to resolve your issue. Hello Hank,

We have never see Shopify payment shown, that's why we are using Stripe solution for now! But it will be easier to monitor everything inside shopify!

That is very strange it has not shown for you when based in the United States.

Did you manage to reach out to the live chat team? If so, they will be able to take a closer look at your account and query with the accounts team to see why this does not show for you.

Hello Hank.

 

I have seen you helped many with their payment issue, is it possible to help me with mine? 

 

I do not see the shopify payment option, i only see through 3rd party and through paypal. I am based in qatar and I have switched the currency to the local currency yet it is still not showing the main shopify payment option.

 

I want people to pay using their credit card without having them create paypal accounts and/or 3rd party accounts to pay for the products, can you further explain how I can make it work?
