Hi I want to connect my shopify account with paypal express checkout. But it’s not working. When I click on activate express checkout on shopify payment option, it successfully login to paypal on the next page , it has option “almost done” and back to shopify. So I click on back to shopify it fetch the paypal information and tried to processing the data but again shows me the same option “Activate paypal express checkout”
Note : While these processing for the first time paypal converted my personal account to business account, asked me to submit ids all done. Got email from paypal that information are reviewed and my account has been returned to regular standings.
I have also tried by adding my Debit card . but doesn't help

I am facing the exact same issue.
So many times i Have clicked on "Activate paypal express checkout" & completed the process till "Almost Done" but after that i cannot see any instructions in PayPal to complete my setup.
Also on return to Shopify "Payment Providers" tab i get same screen wherein again i can see "Activate paypal express checkout"
Kindly support as i am unable to confirm weather my PayPal is connected as payment provider to Shopify OR not ?
Welcome to the Shopify Community! If you're still seeing "Activate PayPal Express Checkout" in your admin, PayPal is not yet connected to Shopify. Were you able to try the solution mentioned in this thread for getting PayPal setup complete? There might be permissions in your PayPal business account that need to be edited.
What browser and device are you accessing the Shopify admin from?
I am facing the exact same issue mentioned in this thread. I have gone through the same process over 25 times and Shopify continues to show me the 'Activate Paypal express checkout' Option.
You have not addressed the issue in both cases in this thread. Can you please help me out. I'm struggling with this issue.
I'm using Google Chrome on Mac OS.

Just in case anyone else runs into this issue, it's important to ensure that you've followed the steps to Finish setting up your PayPal account and that you're using the same account owner email address to log into PayPal that you used to register your Shopify store. If you've followed these steps and the connection still isn't complete, you can try @dipu's solution outlined in this thread to remove the Shopify permissions from PayPal and restart the connection process, or simply give it up to 24 hours to see if the connection registers on its own. Just another step for people to try; either access another machine or use your mobile. Log into Shopify and run through the activation process (on the other device). The screen where you select OK to the access, where it freezes, refresh it, once refreshed you should then receive the success message and return to Shopify. In my case I used Chrome on iOS, swiped down to refresh the browser and it worked for me. Best of luck.
