Removed items still showing in Paypal customer invoice

I want to inquire regarding our paypal integration.
Currently, we are doing manual capture of payments for all the paypal transactions.
There are instances when we edit the line items manually in shopify to remove some of the products that are out-of-stock. Afterwards, we proceed to capturing the adjusted price based from that.
My problem is, when it comes to paypal, the customer receives the right amount that we captured but it does not show the items that we removed. How can we adjust this?
