Request for Philippine Provinces/States in Shipping Zones

Hello, just an update, as of Feb 18, 2020, Shopify APAC Partner Manager NAMRA DEKA has acknowledged this request and confirm that they are on it.

Let's hope this functionality will be in soon.

Hi! Since there are no separate options for cities and regions, do you just input a flat rate (regardless if the delivery area is taguig or caloocan)?

Yup, that's what I do. For example all LBC nationwide for 1kg is 150.
This should be bearable, but there are two cases where the absence of
regional settings will be an issue
1. For products 8kg and more, the difference between VizMin and LUzon is
big, like 900 vs 1900
2. If you do motorcycle (grab, lalamove) delivery in Metro Manila, you can
have a much lower rate, and have LBC for VizMin. Currently this is not
possible.

I really hope they complete this functionality soon.

Thank you for sharing your efforts.

We, however, do not see 4 different region to check unlike other countries have different regions to choose. 

Could you please update for all of us if it is on going?

It's 2020 already and there are still no provinces/states for the Philippines. Please work on this, Shopify team! @Don_old @Don
