Requesting billing refund

I tried to cancel my Shopify subscription and close my store before my trial period ended, but was told that it was not feasible until after the trial period ends. I was recently billed (as of December 17, 2020) the basic subscription and would like a refund after closing my store today (December 18, 2020).

I had created a trial account to test out the features that Shopify has to offer and am not yet ready to fully dedicate to opening a store just yet.
