I hope someone can help, we have royal mail send the tracking number in the order confirmation email. But if the customer doesn't use a tracked shipping service, they're still getting a number in the email, with the message 'Track your package', but it isn't recognized as a tracking number (because it isn't), which annoys the customer as well as make them suspicious, especially if the order is delayed. On top of that it's more work for our Customer Service agents explaining - often in several emails that it's an internal fault.
Has anyone had this problem and managed to sort it out? Can anyone help?
