With ShipperHQ, you can manage shipping rates from multiple warehouses or dropship vendors. You can automate which origin certain products are shipped from, based on the fewest number of origins, origin nearest to a customer or zone restrictions for a given location.
You can also specify where a product is located, such as making all products available via all warehouses or only certain ones. The list goes on and on. You can read more about it on our blog here about multi-location shipping.
The best way to figure out your shipping strategy is by connecting with our sales team. They would be happy to discuss further and have experience working with thousands of different retailers big or small. You can also sign up for a free 30-day trial and see how ShipperHQ works for yourself.
Hi @FIREDESIRE! Gabby here from the Community Engagement team at Spocket.
First of all, it's awesome and great that you're interested in doing dropshipping! While it's definitely a competitive field, there's still potential to stand out as long as you put in the work.
In any case, have you considered enlisting the services of dropshipping platforms like Spocket? I think in terms of finding products to dropship, using the app would make the entire process easy for you. Regarding shipping times, since most of the items on Spocket come from mostly EU-based and US-based suppliers, shipping times are quite fast - products on Spocket can ship in variants of 1-3 days, 3-5 days, or 4-7 days. Since you're planning on selling to customers in Nigeria, you can choose to source out from either US or EU suppliers present on Spocket's catalog. Depending on what you want to dropship, we have US suppliers who can ship to Nigeria as early as 4 days. You can check them out by simply signing-up for free on Spocket's official website to access the catalog - you can just set the "Shipping to" filter to Nigeria".
If you want to learn more, you can explore the website and/or join Spocket's official Facebook group. All the best and hoping you can check the app out! Please also feel free to respond to me here should you have further questions.
I think that the shipping time is depended on the distance. If your customer is near the warehouse, it will go sooner. On the contrary, it will go later.
If you are new to Shopify, I think these Shopify guides will help you much.
I hope it helps!
