Selling digital products (not in Amazon) as well as books via Amazon Affiliate account

Our company is selling digital products using ThriveCart for the checkout process as well as books in Amazon via our Amazon Affiliate account.

I am wondering if there is a way to process orders that would have both Digital products and books in them in a single checkout process?  Our digital products are programs which we sell ourselves,we do not sell them on amazon.  There are several books on Amazon that are supportive for people who purchase our programs and this is why we wish to have the option for customers to purchase both the program from us and the book(s) in a single checkout.

Currently if someone wanted to purchase books and a digital product from us they would have to check out with ThriveCart to purchase the digital product and then checkout a second time through Amazon to purchase their book.

This is obviously not a desirable option since it is cumbersome for the customer.

Please advise me how to proceed if there is known solution to this issue.

We have a client that sells both digital and physical products using the Shopify site and their checkout system. What they do is add product tags that would identify which products are digital versus which items are physical, but this is exclusively on Shopify and not on Amazon.

It sounds like you are wanting to connect both Amazon and Shopify site using ThriveCart to allow for a single checkout. Unless you are exclusively using Shopify, it would be difficult or expensive resulting in you having to hire a programmer for a custom solution to connect both Amazon and Shopify.

Thank you for your reply Jason_Beacon.

The thing is that our challenge is that our digital products are not sold
on Amazon. We sell them exclusively from our sites. We use Shopify as our
storefront to offer these programs as well as a selection of books that
compliment our programs. The books are sold on Amazon and we want to use
our Amazon Affiliate account to offer these books to customers as an
individual purchase and as an additional item when they are purchasing a
program.

When a customer purchases a program from us they must use our shopping
cart (Thrivecart) to checkout and process their payment, so any books that
they would purchase in addition to one of our programs would need to be
purchased in a separate checkout process through Amazon.

So what we are seeking to do is find a way to have one checkout process for
customers who wish to purchase our programs as well as books, rather than
one process for program purchases and another process for book purchases.

I get what you are trying to do.

It sucks, but Amazon is pretty strict about not letting their merchants use any other checkout method and it would be almost impossible to connect both Shopify storefront and Amazon since it's two completely different services.
