Hello, @baffaro!

Karlie here from the Shopify Guru Team! If you're located in Indonesia, you have quite a few payment gateways available for you to use. Shopify Payments is not currently available for merchants located in Indonesia, I'm afraid. The payment gateways available for you to use can be seen in our handy gateway list or here:

Payment Gateways available to merchants in Indonesia:

  • 2Checkout
  • BitPay
  • Coinbase Commerce
  • CoinPayments.net Cryptocurrency Payments
  • Credit Card (Xendit)
  • Credit Card Payments Powered by PayTabs
  • Doku
  • iPayLinks
  • Midtrans
  • MOLPay
  • PayDollar
  • PayPal Express Checkout
  • PUT IT ON LAY-BUY
  • Sezzle
  • Splitit Monthly Payments
  • Tarjetas locales, Transferencias Bancarias y Pagos en Efectivo By dLocal

When you've chosen the payment gateway you're looking to use, you can enable that gateway from within your admin.

  1. Head into your Shopify Admin
  2. Settings> Payment Providers
  3. Scroll down to Third-party Providers > Click on 'Choose third-party provider'
  4. And you can select the payment gateway of your choice from the dropdown list
  5. Follow this guide to see how to enable a gateway in more detail

I hope this has answered your question. If not, or if you have any further questions please let me know. I will be happy to help!

Hey, @baffaro!

If the customer is paying with a credit card then they have the ability to file a dispute. Chargebacks happen when the customer contacts their credit card company to file a dispute for a charge. You can always contact PayPal support to inquire about chargebacks and disputes with their payment gateway.

If you're interested in learning more about how to deal with chargebacks from within your Shopify Admin, then be sure to read through our handy guide, here
