Shopify payment went into wrong bank account

I had the incorrect bank account details in my Shopify store (accidently entered the bank details for another business of mine). I have now correctly the bank details for the right bank account.

My question is, is there any way to reverse the payment so it can go into the correct bank account?

Hi @cos12,

Nick here from Shopify. Glad to hear you got the right bank account sorted for your store now. 

Can I ask where you're based, please? Something to note is that in the UK, or any EU based bank accounts, it's not possible to attempt a payout reversal. Something else is if 10 days have passed, the payout will likely have already gone through and this would be something best sorted outside of Shopify.

Hi Nick,

I need help with my Shopify payments ASAP! I am trying to set up the right bank account and it is not showing it on our dashboard. please help, we've tried everything

Are you trying to change the bank account your store is associated with or just to connect your store with a bank account? Can I ask what exactly you mean by

Do you mean, you filled in the details and it's not connecting? Once I know more and have a better understanding of what's going on, it will be a major help!

Yes, I am trying to change the bank account our store is associated with.
Someone was trying to help us last week but we haven't heard anything and
it is affecting our payout which we obviously need to continue operating
our business. Please help! We are really stressed over this with our
holiday orders coming in.

Hi i received a noticed that i have a failed payout stating that my bank routing and account are wrong but when i go in to change it it wont let me see the old wrong account info to correct it. How can i fix this so i can input correct bank info? anyone there???

I'm not sure why this might be exactly, I would need a closer look in your store admin. Have you reached out to our support team about this already and gotten a ticket number?
