Taking a single payment but shipping portions every week

Hi, we run a farm and we are setting up shopify to run our veg box subscription, i need to be able to take a single payment for 20 weekly boxes for a customer (discounted for bulk buying) and have shopify or a 3rd party app ship one box per week to the customer until the 20 boxes have all been shipped, if the customer had the ability to put a hold on the weeks box because they were on holiday this would be a fantastic added bonus

Nick here from Shopify. 

This is something that wouldn't be possible to do natively through the Shopify platform. Your best bet in this instance would be to take a look through some of the subscription feature apps from the Shopify app store. These would definitely be the closest to what you're looking to do. Let's take a look at some of them below: 

• Subscriptions by ReCharge
• Recurring Order & Subscription
• Recurring Payments & Orders

What you're looking to do is slightly different to normal and not receive payments regularly, but I still think this could work for you. Would you be able to take a look at these apps and let me know if it will work for you? Let me know!
