For some reason, this issue seems to be an ongoing issue: that is, you can't in the UPS app, designate Commercial v. Residential. This is an option in nearly every other ECommerce UPS app/plugin.
Is there a workaround? I need to pull COMMERCIAL rates for all customers. Has this been resolved and I am simply overlooking it? Any assistance would be appreciated.
Pat5 : The UPS API has an automatic mechanism to mark an address as commercial or residential based on the complete details that a customer provides. Once the customer puts in the Street address the address is marked as 'Residential' or 'Commercial' based on the inbuilt UPS API's checks. Now, if you want to show only commercial rates for all shipments, then this can be achieved with an enhancement in the Multi carrier shipping label app. You can contact the team for more info.
