is hair still a high risk item?

Shopify have removed selling hair from the list of high risk items. Does this mean hair businesses are officially allowed to accept payments through shopify payments?

Hi, @awondolls. 

That’s correct! Hair is no longer prohibited on Shopify Payments, and so if you are selling it you should now be able to use Shopify Payments to accept payments on your store. For the up-to-date list of prohibited businesses per region, please see here. 

Are you currently selling hair? If you are and you previously were not able to use Shopify Payments and would like to now, please let me know.  I’m more than happy to escalate your request to have your account reviewed for eligibility.

Hello Helen, 

Now that Shopify does not prohibit hair and wigs to be sold using Shopify Payments I would to have my account reviewed to see if I’m eligible or have the green light to accept  Shopify payments.
