I have a very basic setup of Shopify, and have followed the instruction to modify the 'CART PAGE' to 'Enable Cart Notes'.
The field is available at checkout. However, after the order is placed it does not appear those notes are saved anywhere. They do not show up on the order in Shopify itself, or in data pulled via the API.
I've searched around, but only seem to be finding mode complex issues where this seems like it should be simple.
Actually - as is often the case - after I type this I end up thinking about some of the symptoms.
1 - it used to work.
2 - the only changes we made is adding the Hulk Apps Product Options app, and following a guide to add a 'continue shopping' button.
