Change payment region from Australia to the USA

Hello, 

I've set my Shopify store up from Australia but the region I'm selling in via shopify is the USA. Unfortunately the stores payment & address settings & bank account are set up for Australia. How do I change these to the address, bank account & payment settings of my US business?

This is an accepted solution.

Hello @minnow !

 

To change your bank details follow these steps:

 

Under Store settings, tap Payments.

In the Shopify Payments section, tap Manage.

Under Payout bank account in the Payout details section, tap Change bank account.

Enter your old bank account information and your new bank account information, then tap Save

 

Steps:

From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Billing.

In the Payment methods section, do either of the following: If credit card is the only available payment method, then click Replace credit card. If multiple payment methods are available, click the ... ...

Enter the required information.

Click Replace credit card

Thanks so much for your reply.

Unfortunately it won't let me do this as it's asking for an Australian bank
account number. I need to enter a US bank account number as the business is
registered in the US.

I was able to resolve this. 

I had to change the address of my store first. 

So I disabled shopify payments > flipped back to the general settings page > changed my address > set up payments again. 

I'd set up the payments under the wrong business myself initially in some midnight muddle so I have nobody to blame but myself!
