API rate limit in API

Hello,

We have SaaS based application in which clients connect their webshop too manage product & stock. 

Currently we are receiving error: Exceeded 2 calls per second for api client. Reduce request rates to resume uninterrupted service.

Does this error coming at application platform level or for each webshop?
Can I call 6 parallel APIs in one second for 3 different webshops?

API calls are currently scoped per shop, per key. So if this is a public app, each store you install it into will have the base of 2/s.

You should also be able to make a burst call on each shop as well until you fill up the bucket.

That means I can call multiple webshop at same time at rate of 2/s.  You mentioned bucket size, What is the size of bucket?

Is there any other restriction at client platform level?
