I am working on an embedded app using Ruby on Rails and Postgres. I am trying to use an app proxy upon form submission from the storefront. (ie. Users visiting a shop will enter and submit info.)
I have been able to get our custom form to appear on the product form, and using the app proxy, we submit a POST request to our app where we can process it. What I am trying to do now, and am unsure if this is even possible, is give the customer some form of indication on the front end. Like a success/failure message. Maybe even disable the form after submission.
The form is a liquid 'customer' form. We place it in a snippet then insert it into the product template.
Is this possible? Any tips on how to accomplish this?
