Our app has been in the state of rejection, how to solve? The following is the feedback reason for the rejected app.How do we solve this problem so that it can be approved by app?

  1. When accessing your app through the app index page, the embedded UI appears to be for customers and not merchant drop shippers. - Please resolve
  2. Correct your use of App Bridge using our documentation. After OAuth the user is redirected to this page and when accessing the app from the app idex the user is directed here. - Please resolve
  3. Could not upload a product to verify cost of goods is being imported to the Shopify admin. - Please resolve.

It appears this app is loading customer facing marketplace. The app will need to have a merchant facing component to the marketplace where merchants can successfully upload products to their shop, the uploaded products are bought by customers and the orders along with the customers information is pulled into the the app automatically where the merchant can then purchases the product on the behalf of their customer. Once the product is fulfilled by your dropshipping company the app will need to fulfill that order in the merchants Shopify admin automatically.

Hi there,

Can you explain how will a merchant who is running his store use his app? If you have built that app for yourselves, then it should preferably be a private (which does not go through review & approval from Shopify).

Can you attach screenshots of your app so that we can better understand what the reviewer is trying to say.

Thanks.

Hi all,

We are developing a public shopify app which can  do automation on products uploading and  orders  fulfillment with our end.   Now shopify review team required some updates on our apps.

For order automatic fulfillment, how to make the shipping method of merchant's shopify store corresponding to ours when the  carrier service is totally different?

Hi there,

You are building an app to help a merchant to automatically add products from your store to his store. And, when a customer purchases that product, the shipping should be carried out by you. Is this a correct understanding?

For your qn about shipping - your app needs to register itself as a shipping carrier. The app will receive a callback from Shopify when customer checkouts the products. Your app should provide appropriate shipping options for customers to choose from. You should ensure that merchant has no other shipping apps installed on his storefront.

Thanks.
