Hello, we're building a 3rd party platform that allows users to create Shopify gifted orders.
The orders created from our platform will have a 100% discount code applied, so it's won't add up to the total sales, which is good. But the problem is, those free gifted orders will lower the average order value and increase total orders, we don't want that.
We're aware of the possible solutions below:
Create the orders with a machine user-id
Later on, we create the custom report with the user-id filtered out.
This does the trick, but is there a better way to handle this?
