Custom Scheme for redirection URLs

Hi,

I am trying to integrate with Shopify from a mobile app. Typically, the OAuth flow there redirects to a custom scheme (e.g. not something that starts with http:// or https:// but something something of my own choosing (e.g. my.bundle.id). Meaning, my redirect URL could look something like this:

my.bundle.id://oauth2Redirect

Unfortunately, unless I am completely wrong, Shopify does not allow that? Has anyone overcome this or advise how I can/should approach this differently?

Hey @saderspa

I'm not sure if you're receiving an exact error from what you'd described, but I'd never personally seen those Oauth redirect URI's be anything other than than those two protocols for what it's worth. The redirect URI's (that are whitelisted in your app setup section in your partner dashboard) would more often than not take the form of http/https when the merchant consents to the scopes as part of the Oauth flow.  Hope that helps somewhat!
